After a very long search for a suitable webbing for a 1.5 belt, I have finally found some for the ultimate CCW belt, stiff while remaining comfortable. Made of two layers of coarse grained 1.5 webbing with a mild stiffening strip laminated between the layers, sewn with a total of 7 passes of #69 thread and velcro secures the free end, I can also do a version without velcro.

Currently only available in black or coyote

These retail for $50.00 plus shipping with generally a two week or less turn around time.

  1. I have similar gun belt. I like wilderness tactical belts (with the 5-stitch option) as they're smaller and I like the infinite flexibility of not having prepunched holes. However, it's not dressy at all, which may be an issue depending on what you're looking for. Daltech Force have a wide variety of gun belts.
I prefer the polymer ring frequent flyer belts. I tried the Original Instructor belt, but it wasn't for me.
